Administrative Support Associate

Essential Functions:
Reporting to the Director of the Office of Community Engagement and Service, the primary purpose of this position is to perform a wide variety of complex and confidential administrative duties for the office including excellent customer service, managing/directing telephone calls and general emails, and processing state vehicle records. This position also coordinates specific administrative activities that include organizing data as well as report documents,

The selected candidate will be responsible for completing purchase requisitions, managing grant awards, composing emails and correspondence, preparing presentations and reports, preparing travel arrangements, ordering office supplies, and equipment, scheduling event calendar and venues, and serving as back-up support for the Office of Community Engagement and Service, as needed and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The successful candidate must possess knowledge of Banner (SSB, INB, Finance) or an equivalent system; knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of applications; knowledge of office and records management/administration; knowledge of managing budget; purchasing and travel; ability to work independently with little or no supervision; to take initiative to see projects and assignments through to completion; to learn, interpret and analyze information to make necessary decisions; to exercise judgment and discretion in problem solving; to plan, prioritize and organize workflow; ability to work flexible schedules; excellent analytical and organizational skills along with written and oral communication skills; excellent editing skills;

Salary and Benefits:
$31,200 - $45,038
