Responsibilities*
Minimum salary for this position is $4,937.00. The University of Michigan - Flint invites applications for a part-time faculty position at the Lecturer I level for the period of September 3 through December 17, 2019. The position entails teaching a 3-credit course, EGR 165 Computer-Aided Design. This course uses the Creo Parametric software for creation of models and drawings. The course is scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays for 75 minutes each day. Note: this class will be taught on the Fenton High School campus to their Dual Education Enrollment Program (DEEP) students. The budget for this position is for the Fall 2019 term only, however we have also scheduled EGR 102 Introduction to Engineering for this same days and location in the Winter Semester.

Required Qualifications*
Prospective candidates should minimally possess a graduate degree in Engineering or other closely related field with a doctorate degree preferred.

Desired Qualifications*
Relevant work and teaching experience is desirable.

Union Affiliation
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
