Essential Functions:
This faculty member will be responsible for teaching classes in the Master of School Administration Program, advising students, supervising students in the internship, in addition to scholarly activities, and service to the University.

Minimum Education/Experience:
A doctoral degree in educational leadership or a related field is required. Candidates for this position must have successful PreK-12 school experience as an administrator in diverse school settings. Candidates must hold or be eligible for a North Carolina principal license.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The successful candidate will have specific experience and knowledge in community relations, culturally responsive school leadership, and transformation practices as demonstrated through the application and hiring materials. Experience teaching graduate level courses, supervising interns, working with standards based portfolio development, and online teaching is preferred. Candidates should be able to demonstrate potential for research, scholarly work, and service/community outreach. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
