Position Summary:
Under direction of the VandalStore Starbuck's Lead, this position contributes to the VandalStore success by providing excellent customer service through prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. In addition, this position is responsible for modeling and acting as a positive representative of the University of Idaho, the VandalStore and Starbucks.

Minimum Qualifications:

Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous barista experience.
Current food handlers permit.
Ability to learn quickly.
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.
Ability to use a cash register and handle customer transactions.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

Ability to lift and/or otherwise move 50 pounds.

Ability to bend/stoop, twist, reach and grasp, and to stand and/or walk continuously throughout an 8 hour shift.

Willingness to work weekends and evenings.
