Position Summary
The Head Baseball Coach is responsible for all aspects in leading a competitive NCAA Division I baseball program to include but not limited to: coaching (practice and in-game), recruiting, fund-raising, positive encouragement towards student-athlete development, scheduling, and hiring staff. The successful candidate must be fully committed to all NCAA, Southland Conference, and University of the Incarnate Word Athletics Department policies and procedures, and will be expected to work cooperatively with all constituencies and campus units.
Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA
This position is considered a Responsible Employee under University of the Incarnate Word's Sexual Misconduct Policy and reporting responsibilities as set out in the policy.

Required Education
Bachelors degree
Required Work Experience
A minimum of five years of NCAA coaching experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
Seven years of NCAA coaching experience, Preferred.
Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations
Work Hours
Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift equipment, tools, and/or materials weighing up to 50 pounds waist high.
