Responsibilities*
RECRUITING NURSING PROFESSIONALS FOR TEACHING OPPORTUNITIESThe University of Michigan, School of Nursing (UMSN) is recruiting nursing professionals with advanced clinical training in Community Health; Medical/Surgical; Obstetrics; Midwifery; Pediatrics, or Psychiatric nursing for teaching opportunities in undergraduate programs.The UMSN is accepting applications for part-time assignments to be filled on an as needed basis utilizing this open position posting while establishing an ongoing applicant pool. The number of available openings will vary from semester to semester. Qualified candidates from this posting will be contacted by the associate dean for undergraduate studies and with continued interest will be contacted should a vacancy arise.

Required Qualifications*
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONSA baccalaureate (required) and a master's (preferred) degree in nursing with an emphasis on Community Health; Medical/Surgical; Midwifery; Obstetrics; Pediatrics; or Psychiatric nursing is required. A current Michigan nursing license is required. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience and a solid clinical background. Prior to start date this appointment requires that you be in compliance with all orientations, licenses/certifications, health requirements including standard precautions such as Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, policies and procedures both internal and external to the University.
