Responsibilities:
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will plan, participate, and assist in on- and off-campus collaborative elementary particle physics research. Design, construct and improve apparatus; supervise operation of apparatus; assist in the selection of physics goals and analyze results. Successful execution is essential to achieving the goals of the physics department research program. This research involves graduate students and is an integral part of graduate
education.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Experimental Particle Physics and some postgraduate experience with hardware, software, and physics analysis. Ability to design, construct and improve apparatus.
Additional Information:
This appointment is funded by a grant/award received from an outside source. The
duration of this position is contingent upon the continued availability of funding from
this grant/award at its current financial level.
