Position Description
Advises individuals and provides guidance services regarding routine to complex issues in assigned area. Work is performed under general supervision in accordance with established policies and procedures.



Major/Essential Functions
Talent Acquisition provides support and collaboration to departmental hiring managers, administrators, and hiring committees to assist with the processes and procedures for recruiting new faculty, staff, and student employees. This position will interact with multiple levels of the organization in regard to the functions of the applicant tracking system; will provide guidance on best practices and interpretations on policies.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition area to facilitate the use of Applicant Tracking System for University users and applicants.
  • Assist departments with posting available vacancies internally and externally.
  • Interact with departmental contacts to analyze, troubleshoot, and correct issues on potential job postings.
  • Work with departments to assess needs and create recruitment plans.
  • Assists applicants with submission questions and issues through email correspondence, phone conversations, and in person.
  • Organize simultaneous projects and timelines, effectively.
  • Gather information to report to management on multiple assignments with acceptable time-frames.
  • Develop and conduct professional presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and TTU policies and procedures.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service while assisting the campus community and applicants.


Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or progressively responsible related experience to equal six (6) years.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of recruiting and/or state and federal employment law. Ability to research and interpret laws and regulations and policies and procedures. Previous presentation experience.
