Site Associate (PT) – Cumberland Community College, NJ

Requirements: An associate's degree or equivalent is preferred. Must have sufficient experience to successfully perform the job. Must have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills. Must be detail-oriented and able to work with diverse populations. Must be self-directed and able to make decisions independently. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel. Must be able to type 35-55 wpm. The ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in any situation is a must.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
1. Knowledge and ability to perform processes specific to position:
Enter prospects into Recruit.
Assist students with application process; open, scan, and link official transcripts and documents.
Provide students with new student orientation.
Input transfer credits in Banner.
Assist students with registration.
Make copies of documents and flyers.
Assist with recruiting events/open house/seminars.
Type and post classroom assignments.

2. Student Support Service Processes:
Greet and welcome students.
Provide general information about the University.
Assist walk-in/inquiries with appointments and information including textbook purchases.
Clerical duties such as answer phones, take messages, respond to emails, and schedule appointments.
Contact students for class cancellations.
Monitor students during testing.

3. Faculty Support:
Notify security and AV personnel if needed.
Check and sort postal mail for adjuncts.
Update mailboxes.
Provide administrative assistance with copies.
Assist with classroom/building locations, if needed.
Provide instructors with classroom supplies.
Create and post signs for class cancellations.

4. Site Specific Responsibilities:
Coordinate each day with regional manager/director for other duties as may be assigned.

Hours of Employment: Monday – Friday (less than 29 hours per week). 8:30 am – 6:00 pm. Working schedule will be set within the stated hours by the regional manager. May require travel to other NJ sites. The candidate must be flexible enough to perform the duties of the position as well as meet the needs of the department and the University.
