Position Summary:
Provides live-in supervision as well as organization of evening and weekend activities for high school students from culturally diverse backgrounds during the summer residential portion of the Bridge Idaho projects. Will include weekday, weekend, and evening responsibilities from the beginning of June through the end of July, 2018, in addition to staff meetings and trainings at the end of May/early June and a final wrap-up meeting at the end of July. Room and board provided during campus and field studies components of the program.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 18 years of age
Currently pursing or completed a post-secondary degree with academically responsible record.
Demonstrated record of providing structured supervision to youth or related groups.
Willingness and ability to live in student residence halls and travel from June 9 July 29, 2019 and attend staff meetings and trainings in mid-May and wrap-up meeting in August.
Willingness and ability to work irregular hours, weekends, and nights.
Willingness and ability to comply with TRIO-INSPIRE and UI policies and procedures.
Possess valid drivers license and the ability to meet policy requirements for driving university vehicles
**Employment will be contingent upon satisfactory completion of a criminal background and driving record check.

Preferred Qualifications:

21 years of age
Experience working with a culturally diverse population.
Knowledge of TRIO and the target population it serves.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
Must be able to walk long distances. Some physical activity required.
