Web Development Manager


Location: Moscow

Pay Range: $57,000 - $64,000 annually

Position Summary:
Responsible for developing the user interface (front end) for high-priority web applications. Provide leadership, management, web application development, and support services for major web site and web application development initiatives. Responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying informational and instructional web pages, multimedia materials, and web-based applications. Design and create electronic graphic content and develop text-based digital documents. Assist in the development of online dissemination and print marketing materials. Provide consultation and training for CDHD faculty and staff and work closely with project team members.


Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in web design, communication, marketing, or related field plus 3 years of experience in web design and communications OR equivalent combination of education and/or related experience totaling 5 years;

Experience creating websites in a Content Management System (CMS) and customizing using HTML5/CSS3;

Experience designing websites and web content adhering to WCAG accessibility guidelines;


Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of professional experience in web design, interface design, graphic design, communications, or a related field;
Working knowledge of search engine optimization, web analytics and web marketing principles;
Working knowledge of web technologies such as PHP, Javascript, JQuery, ASPX;
Demonstrated working knowledge of learning management systems (LMS), including ability to post content and manage user accounts;
Experience creating websites in a CMS built on the .Net framework;
Communications and/or marketing experience, preferably in higher education;
Experience creating web-based marketing materials in a branded, integrated marketing-focused environment;
Experience with web graphics creation software such as Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Illustrator;
Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools/software;
Demonstrated working knowledge of online media development and creating MP4/MP3 files;
Experience creating online training modules using e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate.
Demonstrated working knowledge of web visual design, interface, navigation, content creation and usability;
Demonstrated working knowledge of personal computing and Internet systems, server access, and permissions;
Proven organizational skills and project management skills;
Demonstrated ability to set priorities, accomplish objectives in a timely manner and manage several projects at once;
Established record of collaboration and good interpersonal and communicational skills with diverse internal and external constituents.
