Position Summary:
The Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering is seeking applications for a Temporary Research Assistant to work over the summer on a project for development of formal methods in application in cybersecurity, statically detecting cybersecurity risk.
Cybercriminals targeting college students have shifted from generic phishing emails toward highly personalized and convincing scenarios. This project will focus on designing a behavior cybersecurity training for college students, in particular, against multi-layered attacks combining latest techniques such as deepfake, voice cloning and metadata-driven phishing.
This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position.
Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree
Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately
Required Years of Experience: 1
Other Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science.
- A minimum of one year of experience.
- Experience in Cybersecurity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Publication in cybersecurity is preferred.
