What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

This role will assist in research for Data-driven Optimization of Urban Planning, and help with the following: Derive theoretical results of the model; Code to solve the optimization problem; Data collection and analysis; and Conduct numerical simulation.

What You Should Know

This is a temporary, part-time position anticipated to go from July 25, 2025 - August 25, 2025.
This position is in a hybrid modality.

What We Can Offer

The hiring rate is $25 per hour.

Benefits

Temporary positions at the University of Colorado are not benefits-eligible, however, all positions are eligible for paid sick leave.

What We Require

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Extensive experience in mathematical optimization and coding.

What You Will Need

Math optimization experience.
Proficient with Python; Julia.
Attention to detail.
Ability to compile and analyze data.
Ability to communicate findings in written and verbal format.
Excellent Collaboration Skills.
