THIS GRANT-FUNDED POSITION IS FUNDED UNTIL JUNE 30, 2029

JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Administrative Associate 2 assists with the day-to-day management of the Tennessee Rural Health Center of Excellence under the direction of the Center Director. This position provides support to the Principal Investigator, Steering Committee, and the Center staff in compliance with the established policies and procedures.


Responsibilities
  1. Prepares for pre-meetings to set agendas for all Center-related meetings, sends out the invites and agenda, takes minutes, sends out the minutes of the meeting in a timely manner, and follow up on action items.
  2. Coordinates travel plans and enters reimbursement for all key members of the Center's team as it relates to the work of the Center.
  3. Maintains updated directories for the Center and all key stakeholders.
  4. Assists with gathering and reporting for required reports and updates.
  5. Serves as a liaison to the Manager for collaborations regarding rural health policy and marketing of the center.
  6. Order supplies as requested for the Center.
  7. Schedules meetings and maintains the calendar for the Center Director.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)

EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of administrative experience; OR an Associate's Degree in lieu of experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to also be extremely effective independently.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and provide and implement successful solutions.
  • Ability to develop successful teams.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.+

WORK SCHEDULE: This position may occasionally be required to work weekends and evenings. May require occasional overnight travel.
