Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to faculty, staff and all Staff Services Department.
Qualifications:
- Education
- High school diploma is required.
- Certificate in Office Technology Systems or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience
- One to two (1-2) years in business or office environment serving multiple customers is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe PDF is required.
- Ability to accurately read, record and check written and numerical data is required.
- Ability to learn software programs as needed is required.
- Must be able to adapt to performing repetitive activities. 45-50 words per minute typing speed is required.
- Excellent customer service skills are required.
- Three to five (3-5) years' experience as indicated above in a large business or educational environment serving multiple customers with considerable customer service experience is preferred.
Working Conditions:
Telephone, computer, printers, various types of multifunctional equipment, fax, scanner, calculator, electronic switchboard, transcription equipment, and miscellaneous finishing equipment. This position requires a background check and drug screen.
Hybrid Remote Eligible: Yes - based on the needs of the department for office coverage, as well as individual performance, after a 6-month probationary period has been completed
Hours: Monday through Friday 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, subject to change depending on department needs.
Hiring Range:
4 Hourly/Starting salary beginning at $17.59/hourly, based on experience
