OPS Outreach Coordinator, ROCK Center

Job Summary
The OPS Outreach Coordinator for the ROCK Center will work directly with the Center Director and Outreach Specialist to provide workshops both on campus and in the community. The OC will serve as a liaison with community partners and will be responsible for creating new partnerships. Additional responsibilities include working with the ROCK Registered Student Organization, coordinating with the FGCU Service-Learning Office, and creating marketing materials including increasing the Center's social media presence.

Job Description

Typical duties include but not limited to:

Provide workshops both on campus and in the community.
Serve as a liaison with community partners .
Create and foster new partnerships.
Work with the ROCK Registered Student Organization.
Coordinate with the FGCU Service-Learning Office.
Create marketing materials to increase the Center's social media presence.

Other Duties:

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires either four years of directly related full-time experience or as an alternative a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization.
Experience with community engagement

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience with community organizations.
Knowledge of FGCU and the local community.
