Position Description
Manages a unit within a department. Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures for the unit. Represents the unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff.

Major/Essential Functions

Coordinate services for events, such as facilities, catering, signage, displays, special needs requirements, printing and event security. Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws.
Liaison with Alumni Association and Hospitality with maintenance and scheduling.
Inspect event facilities to ensure that they conform to customer requirements. Evaluate and select providers of services according to customer requirements.
Arrange the availability of audio-visual equipment, transportation, displays, and other event needs. Work directly with clients to coordinate all details for their events.
Maintain sales growth for Merket, Frazier and Chapel facilities. Communicate with kitchen/catering staff to ensure timely and proper even execution.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus three years supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal seven years.
