Position Description
Performs specialized, complex work to assist in the organization and implementation of various projects and programs. Work is performed under supervision within established guidelines with performance based on overall results obtained.
Major/Essential Functions
- Serve as the first point of contact, addressing inquiries and providing timely assistance. Strive for first call resolution by understanding and addressing customer needs effectively.
- Responsible for attracting, guiding, and facilitating the enrollment of new students, members, or clients, which may involve outreach, application processing, providing information about programs, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a smooth transition into the program, often collaborating with other departments to achieve enrollment goals.
- Respond to all emails and phone messages within the same day they are received.
- Provide solutions to customer inquiries and document resolutions accurately in the internal ticketing system.
- Complete assigned tickets in the internal ticketing system (ServiceNow) and update customer files using Focus, LMS, Xtender, and other relevant systems.
- Assist department leaders with projects and assignments, including conducting research and contributing ideas for process improvements. Contact instructors via email to resolve specific customer inquiries professionally.
- Strengthen understanding of Texas Tech K-12 system platforms and networked computer programs. Follow department procedures for time-off requests and time recording.
- Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting to changing work assignments to align with departmental mission and goals.
- Comply with all training requirements and actively pursue opportunities to acquire new skills.
Required Qualifications
High school plus five years experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree plus 3-5 years' experience in customer service-related field
