What You'll Do
- Assess third-party vendors and partners for IT security and compliance risks.
- Review technology-related contracts to ensure alignment with privacy, security, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and IT teams to mitigate risk and uphold regulatory obligations.
- Support compliance-related tasks including access management, incident response, and audit documentation.
- Help draft and update IT compliance policies and educate stakeholders on requirements.
- Contribute to dashboards and reports that reflect the university's compliance posture.

Work Location:
Hybrid - This position is eligible for a hybrid work environment. The work schedule will be based around core working hours in Colorado Mountain Time.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or related field.
Substitution: Work experience in the occupational field or specialized subject area of the work assigned to the job may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the degree.
Experience:
ENTRY LEVEL ASSOCIATE
- 0-1 years of professional level experience in IT policy, compliance, security, risk management, contract analysis or legal/governance role.
PROFESSIONAL
- 1 year of professional level experience in IT policy, compliance, security, risk management, contract analysis or legal/governance role.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as
ENTRY LEVEL ASSOCIATE
$60,255 - $65,500
PROFESSIONAL
$65,572 - $81,000
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
