Position Description
Designs, implements and manages an assigned program. Typical duties can include but are not limited to: Identify funding opportunities, conduct program assessments, prepare program reports, oversee and manage program marketing and communications, manage program databases, supervise program staff, plan research activities, coordinate program events, participate in strategic planning, manage program files, establish program standards and objectives, direct logistical activities to promote the success of programs, develop and implement project timelines and ensures deadlines are met, oversee program budget, ensure goals and objectives of grants are met, assists in proposal writing, comply and analyze program statistics.

About the Department and/or College
The Jerry S. Rawls College of Business Administration is AACSB accredited and houses the School of Accounting that holds separate AACSB accreditation. The college offers the BBA degree with majors in accounting, energy commerce, finance, information technology, management, marketing, and supply chain management. Several formats of the MBA program are offered in fulltime, weekend, and online modalities in Lubbock, the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Houston, and San Antonio. The College offers MS degrees in accounting, data science, finance, and marketing research and analytics. A Ph.D. in business administration is offered with tracks in accounting, finance, management, management information systems, and marketing. With a faculty of over 140 and a staff that exceeds 80, the college enrolls over 5,000 undergraduate and 800 graduate students.



Major/Essential Functions
  • Plan and implement a yearly recruitment calendar, including all recruitment and communication initiatives a year in advance, adjusting activities accordingly for each recruitment cycle. Actively seek recruitment opportunities within the Dallas, Austin/San Antonio, Houston, and Lubbock communities and surrounding areas to promote the Rawls Professional MBA program. Seek out and engage in local and statewide programs to promote the Professional MBA.
  • Generate and nurture leads by planning and implementing recruitment events, phone call campaigns, marketing, and email campaigns. Plan all aspects of recruitment events, including marketing needs, coordinating space, and retaining vendors.
  • Assist in the implementation of Professional MBA weekends in Lubbock, DFW, Houston, and San Antonio campuses. Coordinate with the Recruitment Director, Rawls Alumni, and Development staff to plan social networking opportunities for current and prospective PMBA students.
  • Manage PMBA applications assigned to you from creation to enrollment, weekly tracking and coordinating completed applications with the corresponding review committees, recording their decisions, and managing tasks in Salesforce.
  • Front desk help as needed. Assist in answering general phone calls and emails.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience developing or managing programs or projects. Additional job related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree.
  • Excel Certification.
  • Experience using Pardot, Salesforce, Hubspot, Mailchimp, Wufoo, or other email or marketing platforms.
  • Previous recruitment and admissions experience in higher education.


Pay Range
$53,900 - $70,100 - $86,200
