Stores & Mail Operations Supervisor, Full-time, Permanent

The Stores & Mail Operations Supervisor is responsible for assigning and competing all jobs in the Mail Center to meet the needs of the university.

In order to maintain a welcoming environment for prospective students, students, community members, and visiting university staff, the duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

Supervise two or more staff members in mail center operations
Ensure that all mailings are compliant with USPS rules and regulations
Maintain and approve online postage accounts for all university locations
Evaluate the most efficient and cost-effective methods to deliver mail and packages for the university
Maintain inventory of supplies for departments in the university
Complete all postage, shipping and purchasing reports
Provide excellent customer service, including telephone, e-mail or in person inquiries
Actively participate in university activities

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must be reachable for appointment from the appropriate Civil Service eligible list for the title;

OR

Candidates must have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/c service in this title and eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law;

Work Hours: Monday - Friday - 7:30am - 3:30pm

Additional Information:
Salary: SG-12 $50,425 - $61,548
