EBIO's disciplinary strengths include ecology, evolution, genetics, behavior, biology education research and systematics. Our research programs have relevance for global change, conservation biology, the spread of diseases, and revealing fundamental mechanisms underlying the structural and functional adaptations of organisms.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Key responsibilities will include setup and maintenance of experiments to study how microbial communities assemble under simulated High-Alpine (Andean) conditions, full analyses of data resulting from such experiments, and writing up the results of those analyses for publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

What We Can Offer

The hiring range for this position is $22-30.00 per hour.

What We Require

A PhD in Microbiology, or at least five years of experience in soil microbiology and bioinformatics.
