About the Opportunity

The Department of Physics in the College of Science at Northeastern University invites applications for Adjunct Faculty positions at the Oakland campus. These appointments are contingent upon enrollment, available funding, and departmental needs, with anticipated start dates in the fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Adjunct Faculty will teach undergraduate Physics courses, contribute to departmental activities, administer student assessments, and maintain regular office hours to support student success.

Instruction for two or more of the following courses will be delivered in-person: PHYS 1151, PHYS 1152, PHYS 1153, PHYS 1155, PHYS 1156, and PHYS 1157.

The per-credit rate as of January 1, 2026 is $2,435.76.
