Position Description
Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, and friends of the Texas Tech University System to secure leadership annual and major gifts. Responsible for the successful accomplishment of annual advancement goals; and adherence to the prospect management system. Work is performed under general supervision with broad latitude for initiative

About the Department and/or College
Major/Essential Functions
- Builds constructive and effective relationships to become a reliable resource for fundraising initiatives.
- Attend & engage in alumni and donor events.
- Constructive management of donor portfolio utilizing training tools and prospect management cycle.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with donors in order to gain their trust and respect to qualify gift capacity and inclination.
- Adhere to a donor-centric approach to identify donor interests and meet donor needs and expectations.
- Engage current and prospective donors.
- Collaborate with unit major gift officers to cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects.
- Engage in personal training, self-improvement, and professional development.
- Live and promote the values of the Texas Tech University System: People First Integrity Community Respect Exemplary Service
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus one year related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience equal to five years.
Preferred Qualifications
Pay Range
$44,500 - $57,900 - $71,200
