Performs minor mechanical and/or analytical duties on various projects. Work is performed under general guidelines using established procedures and evaluated on results obtained.

About the Department and/or College

Major/Essential Functions

Maintains vehicle, tools, equipment and material in an orderly and safe condition. Vehicles should be kept clean and organized and free of trash. Ensures serviceability of vehicle, tools, and equipment to prevent work stoppage. Report defective vehicle, tools and equipment to immediate supervisor.
Load and deliver residence hall orders as required. Load and deliver supply orders, check order along with Housekeeping staff to insure accuracy. Report any discrepancies to warehouse staff. All done safely. Make sure daily work orders are completed in a timely and accurate manner as assigned per supervisor. Report any discrepancies to supervisor.
Daily removal of all trash from residence halls into dumpsters or trucks. Ensures that all tasks are safely accomplished to meet established standards of performance and quality.
Installation and removal of furniture from halls or offices as required per supervisor instructions. All done in a manner that will not damage furniture. (Desk, chairs, file cabinets, mattress, beds other items as needed)

Required Qualifications
High School or equivalent and two years work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Pay Range
$14.04 - $18.27 - $22.45
