The School of Law has approximately 450 students and 41 full-time faculty members. Major/Essential Functions
In line with TTU's strategic priorities to engage and empower a robust student body, enable innovative research and creative activities, and transform lives and communities through outreach and engaged scholarship, applicants should have experience working with robust student populations at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels within individual or across the areas of teaching, research/creative activity, and service.

In this position, the Law Library Faculty member will have primary administrative responsibility for instructional services while participating fully in the academic and professional work of the Law Library Faculty.

A. ADMINISTRATIVE

Provide strategic and administrative leadership for the Law Library's user services, working collaboratively with the Associate Dean/Law Library Director, Associate Director, and Law Library Faculty and Staff.
Manage user services, including coordinating programs; developing, implementing, and evaluating services; and recommending improvements.
Build on existing user services and develop new programs, services, partnerships, and approaches consistent with the Law Library's mission and strategic priorities.
Provide administrative leadership for faculty research and scholarship services, including the faculty liaison program, research support workflows, scholarly impact initiatives, publication support, and faculty research programming.
Oversee initiatives that increase the visibility and discoverability of faculty scholarship, including publication tracking, faculty scholarship displays and alerts, and collaboration with Law School partners to publicize faculty work.
Lead student engagement initiatives in collaboration with the Office of Student Life, student organizations, and other Law School partners.
Lead the Law Library's user engagement services, developing strategies to engage students, faculty, and other Law School constituencies and increase awareness and use of Law Library expertise, resources, programs, and services.
Lead assessment of Law Library user services, including developing assessment instruments, analyzing service data and user feedback, identifying trends and unmet needs, and using findings to recommend service improvements.
Oversee Law Library social media and other outreach in accordance with Law Library and University policies.
Ensure accessibility compliance and promote accessible practices across user services, outreach, and communications.
Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures related to user services.

B. INSTRUCTION

Design and teach a for-credit legal research course.
Teach Legal Practice research workshops.
Teach in the Excellence in Legal Research program.
Provide seminar instruction on Law Library resources.

C. REFERENCE AND RESEARCH

Provide reference services as part of a rotating reference team.
Assist with research requests and other information needs.
Participate in faculty liaison program.

D. OTHER

Work collaboratively with others to create and maintain assigned LibGuides.
Assist with the Law Library's Scholarship Repository.
Participate in posting to the Law Library blog, The Reporter.
Participate in collection development and selection.
Serve on Law Library and Law School committees (groups) as appointed.
Engage in professional teaching, research, and service, as required by Law Library Faculty Rules.
Participate in special projects or duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION GIVEN AND RECEIVED

This position reports to the Associate Director of the Law Library.
May supervise student employees and other personnel assigned to user services and may provide functional leadership to faculty and staff participating in user services initiatives.

Faculty Qualifications
JD from an ABA-accredited law school and MLS (or equivalent) from an ALA-accredited graduate school, obtained by position start date.
