Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for opening and closing the Box Office for performances and weekday operations as needed. Managing walk up ticket sales, phone sales, reconciliation and reporting of ticket sales on the computerized ticketing system, direction of Box Office activities, including training and supervising Box Office employees and interaction with the users and patrons of the MAC. Set up event specifics in ticketing system in preparation for sales.
Qualifications:
- Education
- High School graduate required.
- Some post-secondary education preferred.
- Experience
- Minimum one year part-time work experience in a customer service environment required.
- Must be computer literate; proficient in Excel, Word, and data entry required.
- Excellent customer service background required.
- Must be detail-oriented required.
- Proficient in spoken and written English required.
- Cash and credit card handling experience preferred.
- Box office experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Performing Arts preferred.
Working Conditions:
We do not offer visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Hiring Range:
7 Hourly Starting salary beginning at $21.70/hourly, based on education and experience
