The College of DuPage is a comprehensive community college located 27 miles west of downtown Chicago, vitally connected to our local area for over 50 years. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Support and provide superior customer service and enrollment assistance to students and community by various forms of outreach activities. Manage data collection and reporting to provide insight and facilitate departmental planning. Mentor and train new employees, serving as key resource and strengthening departmental efficiency and production.

  • Provide information and enrollment assistance to students via calls, emails and texts.
  • Compile outreach activity from ESC staff into daily and weekly departmental reports.
  • Prepare daily call lists by formatting files for outreach campaigns.
  • Process student contact information requests by updating student information system (Colleague) and maintaining contact list.
  • Provide summary and analysis of feedback from outreach campaigns to improve the work and efficiency of the department.
  • Coordinate daily operations for outreach campaigns in absence of ESC Coordinator.
  • Take lead role in onboarding and training of new staff sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Serve as key resource to staff, providing information and assistance as needed, especially as it relates to challenging student issues or departmental referrals.
  • Answer inbound calls and respond to student inquiries utilizing information in Colleague.
  • Assist student with enrollment related to registration, payment, etc. and refer to appropriate department as needed.
  • Stay updated on information and requirements from other departments affecting ESC operations.
  • Maintain student privacy in accordance with FERPA guidelines.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of college policy and departmental procedures and guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Qualifications:

    • Education
      • Associates Degree required.
      • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • Experience
      • Two (2) years of experience in busy office environment required.
      • Excellent communication skills required.
      • Experience with word processing, email, spreadsheets, and internet required.
      • Extensive telephone and excellent customer service skills required.


    Working Conditions:

  • Computer, multi-line telephone, copier, Fax machine.
  • Extensive use of telephone and computer.
  • Lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Background check and drug screening required at the college expense

    Hybrid Eligible: YES; however weekly/daily on campus presence is required.

    Hiring Range:
    7 Hourly Starting salary beginning at $21.70/hourly, based on education and experience
