Requirements
Non-degree programs in Executive Education are a key part of the McDonough School of Business' strategic growth plan. We are investing in resources to ensure that the rapid growth we are experiencing globally can be supported by highly qualified people on the program delivery side. Our goal is to build the program delivery team of this department so that we can continue to develop new business and increase revenue opportunities for the school.
The Associate Director of Program Management responsibilities will include extensive client interaction daily across cultures and borders and leading communications with 30-75 participants in any single program often divided into groups or cohorts, providing highly detailed coordination with faculty members, instructors, external vendors, and contractors. This position will require flexibility as the incumbent may travel up to 10% of the year domestically and abroad for up to 10 days at a time and work some weekends and evenings up to 20% of the year for program deliveries and events. The Associate Director of Program Management has responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
- Assist in leading a team of 6, including student workers, to deliver over 50 programs and $8m in revenues.
- Provide extensive client interaction on a daily basis across cultures and borders with hundreds of stakeholders.
- Lead communications, facilitating the student journey for 30-75 participants in any single program.
- Perform highly detailed coordination with faculty members, instructors, external vendors, and contractors.
- Collaborate on multiple special projects to optimize programs delivery standards and processes.
Work Interactions
Reporting to the Director of Program Management, the Associate Director takes a leadership role in helping to manage the team that delivers over 50 Executive Custom Programs and client relationships at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business. They have responsibilities that include staff management, project coordination, event organizing, extensive client interaction and program delivery - not only onsite at Georgetown, but also offsite, as well as domestically, internationally, and virtually.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 4 or more years of experience in program or event management and high-level client interaction
- Outstanding organizational abilities, a critical eye for detail, and outstanding written and oral communications
- Ability to long-term plan, make decisions and act under pressure
- Ability to succeed with minimal supervision on most tasks and delegate to others
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects seamlessly
- Demonstrated experience working in teams and managing student workers and junior staff
- Availability to work some weekends and evenings up to 20% of the year for program deliveries and events and some offsite travel

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$54,616.00 - $100,493.33
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
