Job Summary

The Walczak Lab is seeking a full-time Professional Research Assistant to support ongoing projects in stem cell biology and neurodegenerative disease modeling. Our lab investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying protein misfolding in disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, ALS, and frontotemporal dementia. We use cutting-edge stem cell technologies to generate disease-relevant human neuronal and glial models. The successful candidate will work closely with postdoctoral researchers and graduate students to maintain and differentiate human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), perform basic molecular biology assays, and assist with general lab organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in stem cell biology and neuroscience in a collaborative and fast-paced research environment. CU is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment. We are committed to creating a workplace where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, and we encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
