Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Aquatics Manager in the management and safe operation of the swimming pool facility - including pool systems and chemicals, deck, and storage areas. Provide supervision to student employees and outside groups.
Qualifications:
- Education
- High School Diploma required
- Experience
- 1-2 years of Lifeguard experience
- Previous experience supervising lifeguards and outside rental groups
- Knowledge of pool filtration systems, mechanical systems, and pool chemistry
- 2-5 years of experience with pool operation and management preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications
- Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR and AED Upon Hire Req
- Lifeguard Instructor Pref
- CPO - Certified Pool Operator Pref
- COD Training
- Bloodborne Pathogens
- Hazardous Communications
Working Conditions:
Part-Time Work Schedule: 29 hours weekly (5am-2pm daily). Occasional evening or weekends
Hiring Range:
6 Hourly/Starting salary beginning at $20.14/hourly based on experience
