Major/Essential Functions
In line with TTU's strategic priorities to engage and empower a dynamic student body, enable innovative research and creative activities, and transform lives and communities through outreach and engaged scholarship, applicants should have experience working with a breadth of student populations at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels within individual or across the areas of teaching, research/creative activity, and service.

As a faculty member in the Lyons School of Accounting, you will be expected to (1) contribute to the teaching mission of the School, including online teaching; (2) mentor graduate students and participate in doctoral education; (3) develop a record of peer-reviewed research; and (4) provide service to the school, college, university, accounting academy, and accounting profession.

Required Qualifications

A PhD in accounting (attained by the first day of employment) from an AACSB International accredited university
At least 18 graduate hours of accounting coursework
Research published in or targeted to elite or highly prestigious journals as defined by the Rawls College of Business journal list
A strong commitment to excellence in teaching evidenced by positive teaching evaluations, teaching awards, etc.

Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the required qualifications, individuals with the following preferred qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply:

Teaching experience in auditing or accounting information systems/data and analytics
An active CPA license
Two or more years of full-time professional experience in accounting or a related field
