Job Summary
The main tasks of the candidates will be to develop algorithms and software to improve GNSS measurement precision and accuracy for altimetry applications and to infer Earth surface, atmospheric, and ionospheric properties. The researchers will collaborate with a group of research associates, postdocs, and PhD students with diverse engineering and science background in the Center, the Aerospace Engineering Sciences Department at the University, and the broader space science and remote sensing research and education community in Boulder, Colorado.

What We Require
- The applicant should hold a PhD in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, space science, physics, or a related field and have experience in processing and analyzing GNSS reflectometry, radio occultation, and ground monitoring systems data.
- Background in radio wave propagation in complex medium and interactions with snow, ice, and water, atmospheric and ionospheric effects, experiences in signal processing and big data analysis, publishing and proposal writing, and independent research skills are desired.
What You Will Need
- Knowledge of radios, space physics, machine learning, coding in Matlab and/or Python, and good communication skills.
