Job Summary
The Data Entry Processor in Admissions plays a vital role in supporting enrollment management by ensuring accurate and timely processing of student data. This position is responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining student records, while ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for students. By collaborating closely with Enrollment Management, the Data Entry Processor helps uphold high standards of service, contributing to a smooth and positive journey for students. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy, and a focus on providing exceptional service to support the overall success of enrollment initiatives.
Responsibilities
Significant Duties & Responsibilities include: Processing Enrollment Management Mail - Sort and distribute incoming mail related to enrollment management, ensuring timely processing and proper routing to relevant departments.; Data Entry of Student Documents - Accurately enter and update all incoming documents for prospective and enrolled students using the Banner Student System and other software systems as required. Ensure data integrity and consistency across all records.; Archiving Documents - Organize and archive all student-related documents using the Imaging System, ensuring proper categorization and retrieval for future reference.; Address and Name Changes & Related Duties - Process address and name changes, handle check processing, and perform other related administrative tasks to maintain accurate student records.; Additional Duties - Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall operations of the Admissions Office.
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications include: A minimum of a high school diploma is required, with prior data entry experience.; Ability to type at a minimum of 35 words per minute.; Proven background in customer service with a focus on delivering a positive and efficient experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications include: Experience with scanning software systems is preferred.
Proposed Salary
The proposed annualized salary range for this position is $32,882 - $35,493 and includes full benefits.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities include: Knowledge of data entry procedures and document management systems.; Familiarity with the Banner Student System and Imaging System, or similar software platforms.; Understanding of basic enrollment management processes and student records management.; Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately input and update student data.; Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software systems.; Effective organizational skills to manage and archive documents efficiently.; Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student information with discretion.; Ability to adapt to new software systems and procedures quickly.; Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and departments to ensure efficient document processing and data entry.; Strong problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and errors in student records

Conditions of Employment
