Job Description
THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN KNOXVILLE, TN
The College of Health Professions at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center invites applications for a 12-month, non-tenure-track Au.D. clinical faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology. The expected start date is September 1, 2025.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include providing (1) Clinical education/supervision to graduate students, (2) Direct evidence-based diagnostic and treatment services, (3) Service to the department, university, and professional communities, and (4) Scholarship activities such as research, presentations, and publications.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) Degree
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in audiology. Experienced with adult patients and at least one specialty (Tinnitus, AR, Implantable Devices, Hearing Conservation, Vestibular) is preferred. Experience providing clinical supervision of students is preferred.
LICENSES: ASHA Certification in Audiology (CCC-A) and meets ASHA requirements for clinical supervision of students. Tennessee license to practice audiology.
