Job Description
This position supports the Director of Teacher Education as well as the greater program. The employee will be in charge of maintaining all records and data on Teacher Candidates from the point of admission to the program through licensure.


Responsibilities
30%

- Maintain & collect data for Teacher Education candidates, from point of admission through licensure; work with the Chair of the School, Director of Teacher Education, and the Assessment Coordinator to ensure various instruments are distributed, monitored and collected in a timely way. -Ability to set-up reports and extract data from Student Learning and Licensure.

30%

Work with the Chair of the School & Director of Teacher Education on all aspects of TEC program; reports to state, local and federal agencies; placements of all clinical student; Partnership task force. - Attend all meetings, prepare the agenda for each meeting, with assistance of the Chair, and take detailed minutes at all meetings (School of Education Meetings, TEC Meetings, Partnership meetings, Assessment meetings and any other departmental meetings.)

15%

- Assist the Chair of the School with payroll. - Puts all School of Education courses into Element.

20%

- Support the Chair of the School, Director of Teacher Education, and EDU. Faculty with processing procurement and travel receipts - Support the Chair of the School, Director of Teacher Education, and EDU. Faculty all School of Education programing (Literacy conference, F.I.R.E., etc.)

5%

- Keeps up with the school of education faculties Office Hours.

- Keeps up with Schools syllabi that are turned in each semester.

- Helps with Textbook Adoption

- Help with Convocation.

- Help with Commencement.

- Serve on the Academic Associate Alliance.

Qualifications
Skills: Excellent Technology Skills (Word, Excel , PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom, Adobe.) Excellent Communication Skills: We have a high level of oral and written communication with school districts/schools and local educators Knowledge: Understanding of Higher Education and our local school districts.
