Our fall semester begins August 18, and we need your help!

Eastern Washington University is in need of instructors in our Dental Hygiene Clinic on Wednesdays. If you are interested in teaching and have Wednesdays available, please review the job description and apply with us! Morning and afternoon shifts are available.

We are looking for Dental Hygienists with 3 years of experience in the field to teach in our Dental Hygiene Clinic. We run a full-service dental clinic on the Spokane campus and perform hygiene and restorative services for our patients. We serve the general public and accept Medicaid and a few other insurances.
Work in a rewarding environment helping shape the experience of Dental Hygiene students and patients for the benefit of all. You'll model professionalism in all manners of conduct and presentation. You'll provide written and oral feedback to students, evaluating their clinical performance in an objective and positive manner.

You must have a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene, current Washington State Dental Hygiene license, current certification in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support, and be able to meet annual continuing education requirements for re-licensure (i.e. 15 hours continuing education/year).

Hours may range from 4 to 16 per week. We currently have a great need for hygienists to instruct on Wednesdays. If you are not available Wednesdays at the moment but are interested in future semesters or helping in preclinic or lab environments, please reach out!

Pay is $35/hour with a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene and registered hygienist in Washington, OR $40/hour with a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene, master's degree in related field and registered hygienist in Washington.

May become eligible for benefits after 6 months.
