This position requires excellent communication and leadership skills. When opportunities to troubleshoot technical laboratory instruments, the candidate should identify the problem and suggest expert solutions to the problem at hand. The candidate needs to be able to properly configure MR spectroscopy experiments, correctly identify MRI acquisition tilts to optimally measure certain cerebral structures, such as but not limited to, hippocampal, orbital frontal cortex, and olfactory bulb.
