Job Summary


We are seeking a field technician to conduct sampling during campaigns in October along the Upper

Colorado River. The individual will be part of a small team to collect data and samples along the river. This will require camping overnight next to the river and working in remote locations for as many as 9 days at a time. We are collaborating with USGS scientists in this work.

What We Require

  • Minimum qualifications: an undergraduate and advanced degree (either MS or PhD) in an area that is related to environmental science.


What You Will Need

  • Experience conducting field research in, on, and/or around rivers/streams; experience collecting and filtering water samples from natural water bodies. Boat travel (i.e., raft) will be required to complete this work, so candidate must be able to swim.
