The Office of Experiential Learning (OEL) at the Leeds School of Business invites applications for an Associate Director! This role serves as a central hub to champion, coordinate, and operationalize applied learning across the school (undergraduate and graduate programs). It bridges academic ambition with industry reality, aligning educational outcomes with dynamic, real-world experiences that prepare students for lives of impact and leadership.
The Associate Director serves as the operational driver of the OEL, translating strategy into effective program delivery. This role ensures that academic goals are connected with external opportunities and internal resources, leading the full lifecycle of experiential programs from design through implementation and evaluation. Acting as a key bridge between institutional strategy and day-to-day execution, the Associate Director enables OEL initiatives to scale with quality, impact, and consistency.

- Demand focuses on defining learning intent, embedding experiential elements into curricula, and maintaining academic rigor.
- Supply builds the network of partners, projects, and resources that create authentic learning opportunities.
- Integration ensures these opportunities are delivered seamlessly, with high impact and continuous improvement.
The OEL is a strategic enabler of institutional goals related to student success, workforce alignment, and innovation in pedagogy. By strengthening connections between students and employer partners through applied learning, the OEL also plays an instrumental role in supporting career placement outcomes and expanding the school's network of professional relationships.
What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Demand (Academic & Learning Needs)
- Source projects and match them with appropriate courses.
- Lead evaluation and internal reporting, using data to drive improvements.
- Support faculty engagement by sharing OEL success stories and results.
Supply (Industry & Experiential Resources)
- Define project scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Build support teams of faculty affiliates, mentors, and coaches.
- Handle ongoing relationships with partners and support providers.
Integration (Program Delivery & Operations)
- Lead integration of experiential programs into curricular and co-curricular pathways.
- Coordinate student participation, recruitment, and out-of-class opportunities.
- Lead multi-stakeholder coordination for project success.
What You Should Know
- The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
- This position offers a hybrid schedule with at least 3 days in the office per week and evening/weekend work hours approximately 3-5 times per semester to support specialized events and workshops.
What We Can Offer
The annual hiring range for this position is $75,000-$90,000. Relocation is available for eligible candidates.

What We Require
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in program management, experiential learning, career services, or a related field.
What You Will Need
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate successfully with a variety of partners.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills when interacting professionally with corporate recruiters, students, faculty, administrators, and staff.
- Proficiency with Salesforce (or other CRM platforms), Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
