Assistant, Associate, or Professor (Clinical), (Clinical) Track, Career-line Position
The Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training at the University of Utah invites applicants for a full-time (1.0 FTE) (Clinical) Track Career-line faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor, depending on experience. The faculty member will teach in the Hybrid Pathway of the Master of Athletic Training Program.
The University of Utah's Master of Athletic Training program is launching a hybrid MAT degree pathway in the summer of 2027. This position will be assigned to the hybrid pathway and will work closely with all faculty within the Master of Athletic Training program to ensure an equitable and consistent educational experience across both residential and hybrid pathways.
Primary Responsibilities:
o Deliver high-quality education in a hybrid format. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in online/hybrid teaching and innovative instructional strategies. Faculty are expected to demonstrate content expertise, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and contribute to an innovative learning environment.

The Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training is home to three degree offerings (a DPT Program with three pathways, a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences, and a MAT Program) and post-professional Physical Therapy Residencies. The Department resides within the College of Health and is part of the University of Utah Health. The University of Utah is a member of the Association of American Universities. University of Utah Health is the primary educational, research, and referral facility serving the medical needs of Utah and the Intermountain West; therefore, opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration are abundant.
