JOB TITLE:
Associate Director Of Industry Engagement
JOB PURPOSE:
Develop strategies to create and manage mutually beneficial partnerships with private-sector companies and the University of Wyoming. Cultivate and facilitate a holistic corporate and industry relations portfolio. Working alongside Research and Economic Development (REDD) and UW Foundation teams, this role is responsible for generating financial support from industry partners in alignment with the University of Wyoming's strategic plan. Serve as key team player in implementing a campus-wide corporate engagement effort designed to coordinate the University of Wyoming's approach to build partnerships strategically and meaningfully between industry and the university.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Experience: 5 years of work-related experience
Other: Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in corporate engagement, fundraising, non-profit or higher education
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a donor/prospect portfolio
- Deep appreciation and understanding of the University and the ability to articulate academic goals and values with an ethically and culturally diverse community
- Experience in proposal preparation
- Knowledge of corporate engagement trends, best practices, policies, and procedures, specifically related to corporate giving and industry sponsored research.
- Demonstration of excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience working in a deadline-driven environment with specific attention to outcomes and goals

WORK LOCATION:
On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work on campus.
