Job Description Summary
Temporary Research Member - CAR T Cell Immunotherapy-The BRITE Lab

We are seeking a motivated and skilled temporary research staff member to join our team and contribute to the development of next-generation CAR T cell therapies for prostate cancer. The position involves hands-on experimental work, data analysis, and documentation in a fast-paced, collaborative research environment.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Conduct regular daily experimental work and contribute to the development of next-generation CAR T cell platforms
Perform in vitro assays including cell culture, cytotoxicity assays, ELISA, Western blot, and flow cytometry
Execute in vivo experiments including animal handling and injection, and tumor model maintenance
Analyze and document experimental data with accuracy and attention to detail
Troubleshoot experimental protocols and contribute to process optimization

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in bioengineering, immunology, cell biology, or a related field
Foundational knowledge of immunology and cell biology
Proficiency in cell culture and sterile technique
Experience with viral and non-viral transduction techniques and gene editing modalities
Experience with immunological assays including proliferation, suppression, and cytotoxicity assays
Experience with in vivo techniques including small animal handling, injections, and animal maintenance
Strong organizational, documentation, and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with CAR T cell manufacturing and tumor models
Familiarity with adoptive cell therapy platforms
Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and strategic thinker
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Collaborative team player comfortable working with minimal direction
Able to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced research environment
