Position Description
Assistant in the planning and development of various daily business functions for various departments within the athletic organization. Ensure the athletic organization maintains a favorable public and stakeholder perception while fulfilling the organization's strategic mission.

Major/Essential Functions
- Assist in the management and maintenance of ticketing system databases, including Paciolan and Access Management, and ticket hardware, including handheld and pedestal scanners.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all constituents through inbound calls, outbound calls, emails, and day-of-game sales.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the ticket operations unit
- Assist in attaining defined revenue goals for each sport, as set forth by the Athletic Department
- Assist with the season ticket renewal process for all ticketed events
- Manage game day operations of selected Texas Tech athletic events and assist in other assigned sports, including post-game summaries, attendance, and sales reports
- Responsible for processing daily deposits and reconciliations for the ticket operations unit, including complimentary ticket reconciliations
- Supervise, train, and schedule part-time and student workers
- Build seasons, events, and individual games utilizing Paciolan software
- Develop and build relationships with existing season ticket holders and donors
- Building and assignment of all away game and post-season tickets in conjunction with the Red Raider Club and the priority points system
- Prepare and submit work orders and purchase orders, and complete P Card reconciliation for Ticket Operations and Sales staff.
- Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director of Ticket Operations and the Associate Athletic Director for Ticketing
- Comply with all NCAA, Big 12, and Texas Tech University rules, regulations, and policies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field plus one (1) year related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience in college or professional athletics.
- Experience in ticket operations, ticket sales, or customer service.
- Experience assisting in the supervision and management of student office and gameday staff.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of computerized ticketing systems, preferably Paciolan or similar platforms.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to direct and manage others.
- Ability to work overtime/flexible hours.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
