Position Summary:
This position is managed in central ITS, but is primarily responsible for applications within the Advancement Unit of the University of Idaho. Day to day operational tasks will be at the discretion of an Advancement designee, currently the Associate Vice President for Advancement. ITS and Advancement will collaborate on larger initiatives to ensure we are dedicating the proper resources, including the person in this position, on meeting the goals and priorities of the University of Idaho

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in an information technology field OR a combination of education and experience totaling 4 years.
Experience in a customer service role.
Minimum one year programming experience and/or education.
Minimum one year experience with Microsoft suite of products including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Operating Systems (including Server versions) OR experience with Linux/Unix Operating Systems.
Minimum one year experience and/or education working with relational databases and an understanding of relational database concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum one year experience analyzing customer needs and providing information technology based solutions to meet those needs.
Experience working in higher education.
Experience working with Tomcat or other Application Server Technologies.
Experience working with Relational Database Management Systems such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
