Essential Functions:
This faculty member will be responsible for providing clinical instruction to Curriculum & Instruction undergraduate and graduate students and will teach on-campus and online undergraduate and graduate in the Curriculum & Instruction Department, supervise students, advise, in addition to scholarly activities, and service to the University.

Minimum Education/Experience:
Applicants must have an earned doctorate with a concentration in mathematics AND science education and current public school teacher certification (or certification eligibility) are required. Applicants should have demonstrated potential for scholarly publication and successful teaching at the university level. Preference will be given to applicants committed to preparing teachers for culturally diverse populations, and with expertise and teaching experience working with grades 6-12 students. Applicants should be knowledgeable in edTPA, Praxis II and/or Pearson. Previous experience in an institution of higher education with a STEM focus is preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The successful candidate will have specific experience and knowledge in teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses and clinical supervision. Candidates should be able to demonstrate potential for research, scholarly work, and service/community outreach. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
