Job Summary:

Supporting and contributing to Child Neurology's research mission and providing clinical care to children and adolescents with neurological disorders in an outpatient and inpatient setting. Key Responsibilities:
  • Primary responsibility is to contribute to the research and discovery mission of Child Neurology
  • 0.25 FTE for clinical responsibility involves management of children and adolescents with a variety of acute and chronic neurological conditions our outpatient/inpatient clinics or Network of Care location
  • On-going follow-up care both in clinic and by phone, for neurology patients
  • Participation and contribution to the training, mentorship and education of residents, fellows, and APPs

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Board Certified or Eligible in American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Completion of residency training in Child Neurology
  • 0-6 years of clinical experience, interest in pursuing academic promotion

Condition of Employment:
  • Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
  • Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possessing PhD
  • Possessing NIH K12 Award or other external funding

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong communication skills; both written and orally
  • Broad knowledge and clinical skills in pediatric neurology
  • Commitment to Patient Safety, Quality Care, Communication, and Customer Service

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$207,500

The above hiring rate represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
