Position Information
Responsible for oversight and the assurance of completion of all scheduling and undergraduate curriculum maintenance activities within the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CHASS). Coordinates planning and execution of quarterly academic scheduling for departments and programs in CHASS through leadership of the Enrollment Support team, consisting of 3 Enrollment Management Support staff (EM) and a Student Advisor 2. Ensure efficient operations of the EM Support Staff and coordinate communications between EM staff, Advisor Supervisors, Majors Advisors, and Department Chairs. Advises faculty, staff, and students regarding policies and procedures in all aspects of enrollment management and curricular services. Provides data driven reporting for enrollment and curricular needs in CHASS. Provides regular trend analysis reporting from a holistic view to share with college leadership to ensure the needs of college are proactively being met. This includes creating predictability models to reflect students progression through required course work verses availability of high demand courses. Works with departments, programs, and undergraduate advisors to develop short-term and long-term goals to meet the curricular needs of students. Manages the review and editing process of the campus General Catalog for all departments within CHASS. Serves as the back-up for EM staff, and advises on best practices regarding new policies/procedures to be implemented. Serves as the scheduling and enrollment management liaison with department Chairs, Department Managers/FAOs, and College office.


Minimum Requirements
Knowledge of advising and counseling techniques.
Skills in monitoring/assessing people, processes or services, to make improvements.
Skills in project management, social perceptiveness to be aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
Ability in problem identification and reasoning.
Knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs and knowledge of University and departmental principles and procedures involved in risk assessment and evaluating risks as to likelihood and consequences.
Ability to develop original ideas to solve problems using persuasion and leadership.
