About Quinsigamond Community College:

Quinsigamond Community College (QCC), the largest community college in Central Massachusetts serving over 13,000 students in degree and certificate programs, adult education and workforce development. Job Description:


General Statement

Health and Wellness Nurse Planner for Student Outreach and Programing will work with the Health and Wellness team to organize and facilitate health focused programs monthly. The nurse will also be a resource to students on topics of health. The nurse will also collaborate with other college departments to organize and promote the team's programs.

Supervision Received

Reports to Director of Health and Wellness

Supervision Exercised

None.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan and facilitate monthly lunch and learn health focused programs for students
  • Participate in weekly team meetings
  • Maintain and update grant spreadsheets
  • Provide monthly reports to business office for grant reimbursement
  • Other duties as needed related to health programing



Requirements:


Minimum Qualifications
  • Licensed Registered Nurse
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to be a team player that supports and assists the team as needed
  • Desire and ability to collaborate across departments and with Worcester Community Leaders
  • Flexibility, this is a hybrid position nurse would need to be on campus for all programs and as needed for planning purposes.
  • Experience or desire to learn about public health and working with low income and underserved populations

This is a grant funded position. Starting rate of $56.82 per hour. Minimum 10-25 hours per week hybrid position. No benefits apply.
