Job Summary: | The Department of Ophthalmology seeks a full-time (1.O FTE) Research Services Entry Level Professional. The Entry level Professional will be responsible for laboratory maintenance, supporting current research projects by performing histological, cell and molecular biology experiments, designing and conducting experiments and analyzing and reporting results. The selected candidate will work within the Ocular Development and Translational Technologies Laboratory, under the supervision of Dr. Natalia Vergara. The successful candidate will join the Retinal Development and Translational Technologies laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Natalia Vergara. Entry Laboratory Science Professionals perform duties in an experimental lab, or wet lab, and handle a variety of chemicals and/or potential "wet" hazards. Entry Laboratory Science Professionals perform duties in laboratories where chemicals, drugs, or other materials or biological matters are tested and analyzed. Key Responsibilities:
